Buffer Capsules

Buffer solutions resist changes in pH when small amounts of acid or base are added, because they contain a weak acid together with its conjugate base in equilibrium. They are used for pH meter calibration, maintaining reaction conditions in enzymatic and analytical work, and as diluents in clinical testing.
