GC-HS Solvents

Headspace gas chromatography analyses the vapour above a sample rather than the liquid itself, which is how residual solvents are measured in pharmaceutical products under ICH Q3C. The diluent must therefore be high boiling and essentially free of volatile impurities, so that nothing from the solvent partitions into the headspace and coelutes with the analytes. Molychem supplies GC-HS grade DMSO, DMF, DMAc, NMP and cyclohexanone in 1 L and 2.5 L.
